In detail
The art of winemaking

Phase 1
Harvesting Grapes
It consists in the grape harvesting phase, which can be done manually or mechanized with the help of grape harvesting machines.
Phase 2
Crushing & Pressing
Pressing is the crushing phase of the berries to extract the juice (must). The draining instead consists in the separation of the solid parts from the must.

Phase 3
Fermentation
It is the process during which the sugars contained in the must are transformed by yeasts into ethyl alcohol, carbon dioxide and other secondary products.
Phase 4
Clarification Process
It is the process that removes the heaviest particles to be eliminated through sedimentation.

Phase 5
Ageing the Wine
It is the phase in which the wine is stored in the large containers (silos or barrels) to mature and harmonize all its components.
Phase 6
Bottling the Wine
It is the final stage of the process and involves the insertion of the wine in the bottle or bag-in-box ready to be consumed.
